Elisabeth is eager to understand things from scratch and to combine theory and practice. Driven by a gripping activism simply waiting and putting her hands in her lap is certainly not an option for her. Her enthusiasm is not only shaped by her studies of political science and political theory but also by her practical experiences abroad. Being fluent in English, Spanish and Italian Elisabeth has been working for a BMZ-funded development foundation in Cartagena, Colombia and the World Food Programme in Rome, Italy. How do people deal with the given opportunities? How can we actively shape the social environment we live in? – These are the questions that vastly trigger her.
