Max is driven by a profound interest in geopolitics, contemporary history, languages and the complexity of an increasingly interdependent world – that carried him around the world. While studying Political Science and Spanish, he went to Lima with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. There he got caught up in the maelstrom of Latin America and spent some time doing cultural research and travelling in the footsteps of Alexander von Humboldt. Back in Europe, Max placed his academic focus on International Relations and Diplomacy in The Hague. His enthusiasm to put knowledge into practice led him to the German Foreign Ministry in Estonia, the Mexican Embassy in the Netherlands and the German Corporation for International Cooperation. Curiosity and a drive for action shape Max’s view of the future.
