Long-Term Consulting Brot für die Welt (Strategy “2021+”)
In its most long-term consultancy so far, the Bureau für Zeitgeschehen (BfZ) supports the sister organisations Brot für die Welt (BfdW) and Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) in sharpening their five-year strategy “2021+”. In that context, nine scenario workshops (January and February 2020), methodically conceived and moderated by the BfZ, are intended to facilitate better adaptation to future global changes, enabling the organisations to recognise their own potential for action and to better develop respective strategic interventions.
The workshops will focus on nine topics prioritised by BfdW in advance: Leave No One Behind, food security, peace and conflicts, future of humanitarian aid, climate change, future of development cooperation, communication, digital change and women’s rights. The participating managers and technical experts of BfdW and DKH analyse – methodologically guided by BfZ – most striking trends in the respective subject areas and, on this basis, develop concrete objectives and recommendations for action. Following the workshop period, the results will be incorporated in the five-year strategy “2021+” as key elements.
