Restarting German Health Care

Restarting German Health Care

The Robert Bosch Stiftung´s initiative “Neustart! Reformwerkstatt für unser Gesundheitswesen” aims to continue providing all citizens with access to health care that is tailored to their needs. This is not a matter of course: The shortage of specialists, the consequences of digitalization and urbanization, or questions about financing health care while keeping quality standards in an aging society demand for solutions.

In the next two years, visionary reform proposals will be developed from intensive dialogues with citizens, in cooperation with experts and from public discussions. After a first Think Lab on the topic “The Future: Where Do We Want to Go?”, the Bureau für Zeitgeschehen (BfZ) held a second Think Lab (18 and 19 June, 2019). It addressed the question of which megatrends and change drivers will influence our future health care system. The next out of nine events in total is expected to take place in Berlin in November 2019.
