How can digital mass data contribute to the effective implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development? And how can the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) become a pioneer in the use of digital technologies in development cooperation?
These were the initial questions of a feasibility study on the implementation of digital economy goals of GIZ. As part of the study, the Bureau fuer Zeitgeschehen (BfZ) developed a reference and orientation framework for linking the development organisation’s policy advisory and coordination services with the possibilities of the data economy.
